Council Departments
Kuje Area Council delivers its mandate through the departments below, each responsible for a distinct area of service to residents and communities.
Department of Administration
The Department of Administration provides the central administrative support needed for the effective coordination and day-to-day operations of Kuje Area Council. It supports personnel management, records, correspondence, internal coordination and general administrative services.
Department of Agriculture & Veterinary Services
The Department of Agriculture & Veterinary Services promotes agricultural development, food production, animal health and improved livelihoods for farmers and agricultural communities across Kuje Area Council.
Department of Audit
The Department of Audit provides independent internal audit oversight of Kuje Area Council's finances and operations. It reviews revenue, salary, expenditure and financial records to promote transparency, accountability and sound financial management across the Council.
Department of Development Planning & Project Management (DPM/HPM)
The Department of Development Planning and Project Management supports the Council in planning, coordinating and monitoring development programmes and projects across Kuje Area Council.
Department of Education & Social Development
The Department of Education & Social Development supports educational development and social welfare within Kuje Area Council, coordinating education initiatives alongside community welfare, culture, sports and social development programmes.
Department of Environmental Health
The Department of Environmental Health promotes a clean, healthy and sustainable environment across Kuje Area Council through environmental inspection and monitoring, waste management, pest and vector control, and forestry conservation.
Department of Finance & Account
The Department of Finance & Account is responsible for the financial management, budgeting, revenue administration, expenditure control and financial reporting of Kuje Area Council.
Department of Health & Human Services
The Department of Health & Human Services supports the delivery and coordination of primary healthcare, public health awareness, human services and community health initiatives within Kuje Area Council.
