Revival of Water Works, Set to Improve Water Supply
The Executive Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, has approved the revival of the Council's Water works as part of his administration's commitment to improving access to safe and potable water for residents across the Area Council.
Overview
The initiative is aimed at restoring regular water supply to Kuje Central and parts of Chibiri Community, thereby addressing the water needs of households and businesses within the affected communities.
As part of the project, public tap heads will be installed at strategic locations, including Kayarda, Angwan Gade, Sundaba, Wuru, Sauka, Quarters, Living Studio Quarters (NNPC), Kuje Forest Market, Angwan Lado, and other adjoining communities to ensure residents have easier access to clean and potable water.
The revival of the Water works underscores the administration's determination to improve public infrastructure, enhance the quality of life of residents, and deliver on its campaign promises through impactful and people-oriented projects.
