Assessment of Rain-Damaged Roads & Bridges in Gaube Communities

As part of his prompt response to people's needs and his concern for the people to strengthen infrastructure across Kuje Area Council, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, deployed a delegation to Gaube Community to assess roads and bridges affected by heavy rainfall, including the washed-away Yanga Bridge.

Overview

The delegation, led by the Senior Special Assistant on Projects Arch. Michael Dagami Jigo, alongside the Senior Special Assistant on Works, Abubakar Dantana, Ward Councillor, Hon. Amos Josiah, and other stakeholders, also inspected key ongoing projects, including The rehabilitation of four (4) classrooms Blocks and office attached (interventions) at JSS Chibiri, the construction of two classrooms and an attached office at Kango Rugan Fulani, LEA Primary School, Pasali, and the ongoing construction of the motor park at Tipper Garage.

Arch. Jigo assured residents that the Chairman had directed prompt intervention to restore access to affected areas.

Hon. Shekwolo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to addressing critical infrastructure needs and ensuring balanced development across all communities in Kuje Area Council.
